In November 2010, Minor League Baseball (MiLB) entered into an exclusive five-year partnership agreement with Essensa. As part of the agreement with
MiLB, Essensa will provide significant savings for the governing body of the sport. In addition, Essensa will also sponsor the
Baseball Winter Meetings, the annual December convention
attended by Major and Minor League Baseball executives. A copy of MiLB's press release about its partnership with Essensa can be found
here.
Essensa will deliver savings opportunities to Minor League Baseball's entire supply chain, including food services, clubhouse cleaning and laundry solutions,
office supplies, carpeting and furniture, pest elimination services, PC hardware and software, credit card processing, facilities management and more.
Through Essensa's affiliation with the national GPO Premier, we have expanded our portfolio so
that it contains more product categories, including unique contract enhancements, contract rebates and regional contracts that meet MiLB's
specific needs.
Essensa will also regularly analyze total business spend, track spending patterns and identify additional savings opportunities to ensure that participating
MiLB leagues and teams are paying a consistently low price for the products and services they depend on.
